My Frame Buying Approach

Since I’m a small, independent business, I have always preferred working with small, independent frame companies.  I like to know the story behind each brand of eyewear that I carry, and I plan to share those stories with you more on the website.

By sticking to this philosophy I can offer unique eyewear that can’t be found at the big box stores around town.  I want your glasses to be unique to you, and I would hate for you to run into someone on the square wearing the same exact pair of glasses you have!

Most glasses these days are made in China, even most of the “designer” frames that big box stores carry.  Most frames made in China are still good quality, in fact, most of the frames I carry are manufactured there by independent, U.S. based companies. All of these frames are good quality, and do well for most of my customers. 

For those of you looking for a bit more luxury, I have expanded my offerings to include several U.S., European and Japanese frame lines. These frames are handcrafted, extremely lightweight and durable.  The manufacturing process takes a bit more time, and you can really feel the difference in quality when you compare them to other glasses.  Two of these lines, Lindberg and iGreen are fully customizable, so you can design your own pair of glasses made just for you from start to finish.  You can even have your name engraved on them!
